Job summary

Panasonic North America is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting, month-end close, GAAP compliance and audits, with opportunities to lead a team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include managing AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, journal entries, and assisting consolidation. CPA preferred; Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance required.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Supervisory experience and ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations: AP/AR, GL, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, close monthly/annual books, journal entries.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support corporate tax reporting.
• Develop policies to improve financial operations and cost controls.
• Assist budgeting/forecasting and collaborate with HR on bonuses.
