Job summary

Access Medical Labs is seeking a hands-on Senior Staff Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support monthly and year-end closes. You will collaborate with the Controller and Finance team to ensure timely, compliant reporting and strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record monthly journal entries (accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, depreciation).
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure transactions recorded in correct accounting period.
• Maintain schedules and documentation for key balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with monthly financial statements and management reporting.
• Support AP/AR review and reconciliations; intercompany where applicable.
• Support internal controls, policies, and SOX/compliance as applicable.
