Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
• Bar license in at least one state.
• 4+ years of disability hearing experience preferred.
• Strong research and writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess eligibility for SSI/SSDI benefits and discuss case details.
• Application Assistance: Help clients in completing SSI/SSDI applications accurately.
• Appeals Representation: Represent clients in appeals hearings before administrative law judges.
• Evidence Gathering: Collect medical records, employment history, and other documents.
• Legal Research: Stay updated on SSA regulations and case law.
• Communication: Act as liaison between clients and government agencies.
• Advocacy: Advocate for clients to ensure they receive entitled benefits.
