Job summary

Mindset Care, Inc. is seeking an experienced Disability Hearing Attorney to represent claimants through SSDI/SSI hearings and appeals in a hybrid New York City office. You will advocate, organize cases, review medical records, and coordinate with agencies and staff.

The role requires strong litigation skills, bar admission in at least one U.S. state, and the ability to work remotely as appropriate within a collaborative team. Compensation includes a competitive salary and hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state.
• Four or more years of relevant legal experience in disability hearings.
• Strong knowledge of SSA regulations and disability law.
• Excellent hearing, research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on SSI/SSDI eligibility and hearing strategy.
• Represent clients at disability hearings before ALJs and appeals.
• Review medical records and evidence to build strong cases.
• Draft briefs, motions, and submissions for claims.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and partners.
