Job summary

UnitedMasters, in partnership with Translation, is seeking a senior/Staff SRE to own reliability and security across our platform. You’ll lead tooling, monitoring, incident response, and system design while mentoring peers and guiding teams toward robust, scalable solutions.

From embedding security into the lifecycle to shaping a long-term AWS strategy, you will balance performance with cost and drive agentic security initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Senior-to-staff experience as an SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineer with production reliability at scale.
• Hands-on application and/or infrastructure security experience to lead security discussions without a dedicated team.
• Experience building with LLMs and agentic systems; understanding failure modes and need for human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Partner with platform, data, QA, and product teams to understand automation, infrastructure, monitoring, and security needs.
• Build tooling and processes to address identified needs.
• Develop an agentic vulnerability detection and mitigation pipeline with human-in-the-loop guardrails.
• Embed security into the development lifecycle, including threat modeling and supply-chain hygiene.
• Lead security and reliability incident response as a first-class concern.
