UnitedMasters, Inc. is seeking a senior-to-staff SRE/infra engineer with a security focus to own reliability and security tooling across our AWS-based platform. You will partner with platform, data, QA, and product teams to design and maintain agentic security pipelines, triage vulnerabilities, and drive incident response.

You’ll coach peer developers, embed security into the lifecycle, set SLAs/SLOs, and shape long-term reliability and cost strategies for scalable systems in CA/NY.

Qualifications

• Senior-to-staff SRE/infrastructure engineer with production reliability experience.
• Hands-on security experience leading security discussions without a dedicated security team.
• Experience with LLMs and agentic systems; understands failure modes and human oversight needs.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals; you build tools and systems, not just configure them.
• Coaching instinct with ability to mentor teams and raise overall reliability.

Responsibilities

• Partner with platform, data, QA, and product teams to understand automation, infra, monitoring, and security needs.
• Build tooling and processes to address those needs.
• Develop an agentic vulnerability detection and mitigation pipeline with guardrails.
• Embed security into the development lifecycle, including threat modeling and secrets management.
• Lead security and reliability incident response as a core operational focus.
• Define company SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets and help teams set their own.
• Own AWS infrastructure and long-term strategy for reliability and security.
