Job summary

KnowBe4 seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to help build scalable, secure, and reliable AWS-based infrastructure. You will work with a fast-paced team to improve deployment strategies, observability, and incident response, ensuring robust systems across distributed services.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong scripting skills in Python or Ruby, and experience with Terraform, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in SRE/DevOps or equivalent.
• Training in secure coding practices (preferred).
• Proficient scripting in Python, Ruby, Javascript.
• Experience designing high-scale AWS patterns.
• Experience building repeatable CI/CD workflows (GitLab preferred).
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to quickly understand and debug complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with SREs to build scalable AWS-based applications and infra.
• Maintain and improve extensible infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
• Learn and improve deployment strategies across teams.
• Deliver observability, monitoring, and alerting patterns for apps and infra.
• Serve as escalation point for production incidents root-cause analysis.
• Assist in designing globally distributed systems and processes.
• Identify and fix deficiencies in applications and infrastructure.
• Define new approaches and tailored solutions to complex problems.
• Lead projects with SREs and communicate progress to stakeholders.
