Job summary

KnowBe4, Inc. is hiring Site Reliability Engineers to ensure our platforms are reliable, secure, scalable, and efficient. You’ll join a fast-paced, agile team that enhances distributed services across AWS.

The ideal candidate enjoys new AWS releases, stays current with industry trends, and demonstrates excellent time-management and communication skills. We use Python, Terraform, OpenTofu, AWS CDK, GitLab, Git, DataDog, and AWS services like ECS, Lambda, and more.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or equivalent cloud-scale roles.
• Experience designing and operating high-scale patterns in AWS.
• Experience building and designing repeatable CI/CD workflows (GitLab preferred).
• Ability to self-manage time across competing projects.
• Ability to quickly understand and debug complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with other Site Reliability Engineers to build scalable, cloud-native AWS apps and infrastructure.
• Maintain and improve infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• Learn, maintain, and improve deployment strategies.
• Deliver observability, monitoring, and alerting for KnowBe4’s apps and infra.
• Act as escalation point for production incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Design globally distributed systems and processes for the organization.
• Identify deficiencies and implement corrective improvements.
• Lead projects with other SREs and communicate progress to stakeholders.
