Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Site Reliability & Performance Engineer to improve the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of complex enterprise applications across modern cloud and legacy environments.

This is a senior, hands-on technical role focused on application reliability, performance engineering, observability, production troubleshooting, and incident response. The role requires leading cross-team collaboration and driving durable improvements in production systems.

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering, SRE, performance engineering, production engineering, or application reliability experience.
Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting complex enterprise applications in production environments.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern enterprise applications such as Java, .NET, web/UI, APIs, or distributed systems.
Strong experience using observability and monitoring tools to analyze metrics, logs, and traces.
Excellent English communication skills and ability to explain complex issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production reliability and performance issues.
Analyze applications end-to-end to identify bottlenecks, failures, latency, and scalability issues.
Drive improvements in reliability through SLIs/SLOs, monitoring, automation, runbooks, and incident reduction initiatives.
Use metrics, logs, traces, and observability platforms to identify root causes and validate fixes.
Perform and guide performance profiling, load testing, capacity planning, CPU/memory analysis, and latency analysis.
