Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an IKCP Site Reliability Engineer Lead to ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and security of the enterprise IKCP. You will partner across Engineering, Architecture, Product Management, Security, and Operations to deliver a platform-as-a-product experience.

Responsibilities include leading incident response, runbooks, capacity planning, and modernization initiatives across OpenShift, Kubernetes, Rancher, and VKS. Strong automation and IaC skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, cloud, platform engineering, or SRE.
• 5+ years managing Kubernetes/OpenShift prod environments.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and 24x7 ops.

Responsibilities

• Own platform reliability objectives including availability and resiliency.
• Lead incident response, RCA, and problem management.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, procedures, and best practices.
• Drive platform upgrades, patching, and release orchestration.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, engineering, and security teams.
