Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an IKCP Site Reliability Engineer Lead to ensure reliability, scalability, performance and security of the enterprise IKCP. The role acts as a technical lead for platform engineering, driving automation, observability, runbooks, and L3 operations across OpenShift, Kubernetes, Rancher and VKS.

You will partner with Engineering, Architecture, Product Management, Security, Infrastructure and Central Operations to deliver a highly available platform-as-a-product experience

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, cloud, platform engineering, or SRE.
• 5+ years managing Kubernetes and/or OpenShift production environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Development and Infrastructure teams to implement monitoring capabilities.
• Develops and maintains reliability scripts, tools and libraries for instrumentation and automation.
• Partners to implement code changes using reliability libraries and tools for Application Production Services.
• Engages in architecture practice meetings and cross-channel communication.
• Identifies vulnerabilities and opportunities for reliability improvement and reduces manual support effort.
• Participates in major incident triage and failure scenario modelling with Problem Manager.
