The Senior Duty Officer drives post-incident learning, automation, and leadership coaching, requiring executive presence and a deep understanding of distributed systems and large-scale production environments.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of engineering experience including operating large-scale production systems and commanding major incidents.
• Principal-level SRE and distributed-systems expertise, strong software development and AI-agent orchestration skills.

Responsibilities

• LeadIntuit’s most critical incidents, directing recovery decisions and communications with business and operations leaders.
• Improve incident readiness and recovery across business units through observability, runbooks, post-incident learning, automation and AI-agent tooling, and incident-leadership coaching.
