Job summary
Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in a hybrid role across major U.S. cities.
You will improve reliability, observability, and operational health of production services, partnering with software engineering teams to embed resilience and scalability throughout the lifecycle. The role requires 5–8 years of software/SRE experience, strong automation and scripting, and a focus on CI/CD, IaC, and incident response.
Qualifications
- Typically 5-8 years of relevant professional experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cloud/Platform Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Architecture where applicable, or a comparable technical discipline.
Responsibilities
- Use software engineering, automation, and DevOps principles to improve services.
- Define, implement, or improve SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and service-health measures.
- Improve observability with metrics, logging, tracing, monitoring, and dashboards.
- Drive CI/CD, IaC, automation, testing, and incident response.
- Identify recurring production issues and translate into improvements.
- Partner with engineering to embed reliability across the lifecycle.
- Lead incident response and blameless post-incident learning.
- Reduce operational toil through reusable patterns and tooling.
