Teleport is hiring for a highly skilled engineer to re-engineer and scale our production, cloud-enabled infrastructure. You will work on Go-based services, optimize routing, and strengthen the observability stack across global teams.

The role emphasizes security-conscious design, collaboration, and delivering reliable access to infrastructure. Remote-first, global team with onboarding at the Oakland, CA office.

Competenze

• 5+ years in Software Eng/SRE/DevOps roles.
• Strong experience in Linux systems, networking, containers, and troubleshooting.
• Solid Go and Kubernetes development experience.
• AWS Cloud experience preferred; GCP acceptable.
• Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki.
• Operate and support the observability platform to maintain visibility and reliability.
• Experience in security-conscious teams.
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to master new tech.
• Transparent, honest, no-ego mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.

Mansioni

• Re-engineer the core Teleport product to scale globally and optimize routing latency.
• Rewrite portions of the core Teleport product for the cloud product.
• Build out monitoring and observability stack for production reliability.
• Develop automation to reduce toil and improve efficiency.
• Handle traditional ops tasks: patching, scaling, backup/restore, DR.
• Investigate outages and incidents affecting customers.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 uptime.
