Job summary

Teleport is seeking product-focused systems engineers to work on Teleport Core Product, addressing performance, security, and scalability in large deployments. You will design, implement, test, and document solutions, mainly in Go, contributing to an open source codebase.

You will collaborate across teams, work with customers to diagnose issues, and grow your expertise while shipping high-quality, reliable software.

Qualifications

• Extensive Go experience.
• Experience building scalable distributed systems.
• Linux systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Identity Management, RBAC, ABAC, and zero-trust security models.
• Open source contributions are a plus.
• Builder mentality; love building zero-to-one products.
• Willingness to code in Go during interview.
• Strong collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on scalability, performance, and reliability of Teleport in large deployments.
• Design, develop, and ship high-quality products.
• Write most of the code in Go.
• Collaborate with Teleport teams on scalability and performance.
• Work directly with customers to diagnose performance issues.
• Grow your technical expertise.
