Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer for a remote role in the United States. You will help design, scale, and operate a large-scale cloud platform with a focus on reliability and observability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, deep Kubernetes, Linux, and AWS expertise, plus IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) and CI/CD. You will drive automation and partner with engineering teams to enforce best practices in cloud architecture and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps or related infrastructure roles.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient platform infrastructure using Kubernetes and AWS.
• Drive reliability, performance, observability, and automation across production environments.
• Develop IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and operational tooling to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues across distributed systems.
• Partner with engineering teams to apply best practices for cloud architecture, security, and operations.
