MongoDB in New York City is seeking an SRE to design and build the global infrastructure for Atlas, focusing on low latency and data sovereignty. You will automate and monitor services across multiple cloud providers, aiming for self-healing systems and reduced operator burden.

You will join a team that prioritizes infrastructure-as-code, resilience, and observability, with a weekly on-call rotation and the opportunity to work hybrid from NYC.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience running a mission-critical service at scale in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with at least one modern programming language beyond basic scripting.
• Familiarity with web and network protocols and standards (HTTP, TLS, DNS, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience writing automation tools and eagerness to automate everything.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build infrastructure for a global cloud service with hundreds of thousands of MongoDB clusters.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot automation and monitoring for services spanning multiple clouds.
• Become an expert in infrastructure performance from application to firmware.
• Build for resilience with minimal paging and participate in weekly on-call rotation.
• Improve infrastructure capabilities focusing on cost, simplicity, and maintainability.
