Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Senior SRE with a strong networking background to design and operate its multi-cloud Kubernetes foundation, deployment pipelines, and observability platforms. You will own parts of the network architecture, service mesh integrations, and edge load balancing.

You will collaborate with internal teams to improve connectivity, resolve incidents, and contribute to scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across cloud providers. A 24/7 on-call rotation is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Deep networking expertise across TCP/IP (incl. IPv6), DNS, TLS/mTLS, and BGP.
• Experience with multi-cloud networking and service mesh/load balancing.
• Strong background in distributed systems and automation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a major re-architecture of a globally connected multi-cloud network.
• Collaborate with service-owning teams to share best practices for connectivity.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to resolve network issues with high availability.
