Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to join the Atlas Clusters Platform team in New York City on a hybrid schedule. You will build and design features for MongoDB Atlas, collaborate with product and design, and mentor teammates as you ship complex projects.

Qualifications

• Has at least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Skilled at writing large-scale, distributed backend systems in a compiled language (Java, C#, Go, etc.).
• Comfortable across the stack of a modern web application (React, TypeScript, Kubernetes).
• Has experience with at least one major cloud provider technology (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Led the launch of a new feature and maintained it in production.
• Excellent communication skills; curious, collaborative and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Build and design new features for MongoDB Atlas.
• Contribute to and lead complex technical projects.
• Collaborate with product and design teams from user perspective.
• Work with customers and support engineers to fix issues.
• Mentor teammates and share best practices across the codebase.
