Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, scalability, and operational health of critical cloud services used by healthcare providers worldwide. This role is part of a newly formed SRE practice, offering mentorship from a Senior SRE in a true player‑coach setup.

You will collaborate across product and engineering to implement SLIs/SLOs, automate toil, and improve observability, with hybrid work and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years in software or platform engineering with 3+ years SRE/DevOps.
• Strong hands-on with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability and monitoring for cloud services.
• Define SLIs/SLOs with product and engineering teams.
• Drive automation to remove toil and improve resilience.
• Lead on-call rotations and incident response.
• Collaborate with MSPs for escalation paths.
