Job summary

Grafana Labs, a remote-first company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - SRE to strengthen the reliability of Grafana Cloud databases (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Pyroscope) offered as a SaaS across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will work in a globally distributed team, focusing on high-SLA environments and multi-tenant systems.

You will partner with product engineering squads, own production reliability, and design automation to scale reliability, all while leading on-call responses and incident

Qualifications

• 6+ years engineering experience, 3+ in SRE/production engineering or customer reliability engineering.
• Strong Kubernetes experience in cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience operating multi-tenant systems in production and designing SLOs.

Responsibilities

• Own production reliability for high-SLA and complex customer environments.
• Design and implement automation to scale reliability practices.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews with customers and teams.
• Define, evolve per-tenant SLOs and reliability models; reduce SLO burn.
• Partner with product engineering squads to align reliability with product goals.
