Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for Grafana Backend Services. This role focuses on delivering backend capabilities for both On-Prem and Cloud, with a strong emphasis on scalable API design and orchestration infrastructure.

You will work closely with multiple squads, contribute to architecture discussions, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure reliable services. A passion for open-source culture and mentoring junior engineers is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience, preferably in Go.
• Deep understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite).
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new backend functionality and iterate based on results.
• Review designs and contribute to feature documentation.
• Collaborate across teams and participate in design discussions.
