Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - SRE to enhance the reliability of Cloud databases for high-SLA customers. You will work closely with product engineering, design automation, and lead incident responses.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of engineering experience, particularly in SRE or production engineering, and practical experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

This position is remote-friendly, catering to candidates from various regions including the UK, Sweden, Spain, and Germany.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with technical leadership, mentoring other engineers.
• Experience designing and implementing SLOs.
• Experience with calmly participating in blame-free incident responses.

Responsibilities

• Own production reliability for high-SLA and complex customer environments.
• Design and implement automation to scale reliability practices.
• Lead customer-impacting incident response and post-incident reviews.
