Job summary

Steady Rabbit is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability, performance, and operational excellence across cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes. You will lead incident response for high-severity outages and mentor engineers as the team scales.

You will design Python automation, Terraform-based IaC, and Grafana dashboards to surface actionable signals, while collaborating with product and leadership to communicate impact and remediation plans.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on expertise with core AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Strong Python proficiency for automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and incident response for high-severity outages across AWS and EKS.
• Design and build Python-based automation frameworks to reduce toil.
• Architect and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure as code across AWS environments.
• Drive observability with Grafana dashboards and alerting frameworks.
• Perform root-cause analysis using SQL and CloudWatch Logs Insights.
• Own ITSM processes including Incident and Problem Management.
