Job summary

Safe Fleet is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability across our cloud-native product ecosystem. You will build observability, define SLOs and act as Incident Commander during critical events, driving remediation into production.

You will lead AI-assisted reliability initiatives, automate repetitive tasks, and collaborate with product and engineering to improve system health, performance, and incident response maturity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Operations, Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
• Proven ability defining SLIs, SLOs and error budgets for distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience owning production reliability and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve observability across metrics, logs, traces and alerts.
• Define and own SLIs/SLOs and error budgets with stakeholders.
• Act as Incident Commander during critical events and drive post-incident reviews.
• Lead AI-assisted reliability initiatives and automation to reduce toil.
• Coordinate capacity planning and reliability reporting for leadership.
