Job summary

Jamf is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to balance development velocity with reliability across services. You’ll partner with engineering to define SLOs, lead automation, and build AI-enabled tooling to improve reliability globally.

You’ll work with agentic development tools and contribute to scaling the SRE practice while collaborating with product, customer success and support teams. Remote from Poland with occasional office work.

Qualifications

5+ years in software engineering, SRE or production operations.
Troubleshoot across the stack from first principles with available tools.
Experience with Agile development process.
Hands-on with AWS production services (EC2, S3, EKS, RDS/Aurora, CloudFront).
Experience using observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, LogicMonitor).
Experience creating clear docs for technical and non-technical audiences.
Infrastructure as code experience.
Automation in Python/Go/Java for production systems.
Sound judgement applying AI across SRE work, including safe access controls.
Hands-on with agentic development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).
Experience improving AI usage within a team (reusable skills, repo context, prompts).
SQL query optimization (preferred).
CI/CD tooling (preferred).
Chaos engineering / disaster recovery exposure (preferred).
Familiar with FinOps (preferred).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Define service-level objectives, error budgets and indicators with engineering teams.
Investigate complex production issues across app, data, infra and network layers.
Produce runbooks, docs, postmortems and proofs of concept for technical and non-technical audiences.
Identify toil sources and lead automation, AI agents and tooling to eliminate them.
Set conditions for AI agents including repository context and tests/guardrails.
Participate in team ceremonies to refine work and collaborate.
Drive cross-team reliability initiatives and mentor engineers on SRE and AI use.
Advise leadership during customer escalations translating technical reality to business impact.
Contribute to scaling the SRE practice with standards and tooling.
