Sustainable Talent is partnering with NVIDIA, a global leader that has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. We are looking for a Senior SRAM Layout Design Engineer to support our client's team onsite in Santa Clara, CA.

This is a full-time (W-2) contract role. We offer competitive pay $110/hr - $120/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of custom IC layout experience, including SRAM/memory IP layout.
• Strong background with advanced CMOS, FinFET/GAA nodes at 5nm/3nm.
• Expertise in Cadence Virtuoso for custom layout creation and assessment.
• Proficient in DRC/LVS debugging with Calibre or similar tools.
• Experience in floor planning, routing, macro integration, and pin planning.
• Ability to collaborate with circuit, CAD, and foundry teams; mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete custom SRAM layout process including bitcell arrays and macros.
• Develop and refine floorplans for SRAM/memory blocks and power grid design.
• Perform DRC/LVS/ERC checks and address layout verification issues.
• Support power integrity, density/fill, DFM, and tape-out readiness.
• Collaborate with circuit designers to convert schematics into robust layouts.
• Coordinate with PnR and integration teams to resolve top-level issues.
• Advance layout methodology, checklists, and best practices across the team.
• Engage with foundry, CAD, and methodology teams on process constraints.
• Review layouts and mentor junior engineers to raise overall quality.
