Job summary
Greenberg Traurig LLP seeks a Senior Database Administrator to architect, administer, and optimize enterprise SQL Server databases across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will ensure security, reliability, and scalability while collaborating with application owners and IT teams.
Responsibilities include monitoring performance, updating patches, implementing DR and backup processes, and delivering data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 8–10 years of enterprise MS SQL Server design, development, administration, and maintenance.
- Experience configuring, operating and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server on‑premises and in cloud environments.
- Experience in database design, standards, capacity planning, disaster recovery, accessibility and documentation for SQL Server.
- Development of complex queries, SSIS packages and SSRS reports.
Responsibilities
- Maintain enterprise SQL database operations including server updates and patches.
- Ensure database security and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Review architecture and optimize enterprise database systems.
- Architect and implement new database systems.
- Monitor performance and perform database tuning.
