Job summary
Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator to support enterprise databases and platform services.
The role focuses on availability, performance, reliability, and security across client/server environments, including planning backups, DR/COOP, and data governance artifacts. The candidate will collaborate with IT leadership and stakeholders, support SQL Server/Oracle environments, and assist with SQL Server Reporting Services configuration and analytics
Qualifications
- Experience managing Oracle and SQL databases for federal or commercial clients.
- Ability to configure, maintain and optimize enterprise databases.
- Strong knowledge of HA/DR, backups, and performance tuning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior administrator for enterprise databases and platform services.
- Design, configure, and maintain complex databases across environments.
- Plan and execute backup, recovery, and DR/COOP activities.
- Support reporting/analytics and SQL Server Reporting Services configuration.
