Job summary
Greenberg Traurig, LLP is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to architect, administer and optimize our enterprise SQL Server databases across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with application owners and IT teams to ensure data security, reliability and performance, while guiding users and maintaining documentation.
The role supports flexible office locations or remote work, reporting to the Director of Network Systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 8–10 years’ enterprise SQL Server design, development, administration, and maintenance.
- Experience in on‑prem and cloud environments.
- Experience with SQL Server security, DR, backup and disaster recovery planning.
- Proficiency in PowerShell automation and scripting.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect, administer and optimize enterprise SQL Server databases.
- Ensure security, reliability and scalability of databases.
- Monitor performance and perform tuning for optimal operation.
- Develop and implement DR and backup processes.
- Create custom queries, SSRS subscriptions, and migration scripts.
- Support audits and provide required documentation.
