Job summary

A premier IT services and consulting company is seeking a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to support enterprise clients in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. In this remote role, you will leverage your expertise with SQL Server to drive performance tuning, cloud migrations, and high availability for critical databases. Applicants should have at least 10 years of experience in enterprise settings and a strong background in automation. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $65–$75 based on experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as an SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated expertise with cloud-hosted SQL Server in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server internals, T-SQL, query optimization, and database architecture.

Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server environments across on-prem and cloud infrastructures.
• Manage the full SQL Server database lifecycle including upgrades and patching.
• Lead SQL Server migrations from on-prem to cloud and between cloud platforms.
