Qualifications

• 7+ years of SQL Server DBA experience.
• Strong experience supporting hybrid Azure and on‑prem environments.
• Expertise with Always On Availability Groups, Disaster Recovery, and security best practices.
• Advanced performance tuning: query optimization, index strategies, execution plans, capacity planning.
• Hands‑on with PowerShell, T‑SQL, backup/recovery operations, migrations and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL environments.
• Design and support High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions (Always On, Replication).
• Manage backup and recovery strategies, including point‑in‑time restore and validation.
• Monitor and optimize performance: tuning, indexing, execution plans, wait statistics.
• Collaborate with Network, Systems, Infrastructure, and Security teams; serve as escalation point.
