Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on enterprise MS SQL Server (on-prem and Azure).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Must pass a background/fingerprint check.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch and upgrade enterprise SQL Server (on-prem and Azure).
• Performance monitoring and tuning: indexes, queries, blocking, deadlocks.
• Backup/recovery and HA/DR: Always On, log shipping, failover clusters, replication.
• Administer Azure SQL Database, Managed Instance and SQL Server on Azure VMs; on-prem to Azure migrations.
• Security and RBAC implementation.
• Developer support and code review; T-SQL and PowerShell automation; documentation.
