Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of data engineering or database engineering experience on Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Expert-level T-SQL, including window functions and set-based design.
• Experience designing denormalized read models, snapshot tables and materialized aggregates.
• Experience with Flyway or equivalent versioned migrations in CI pipelines.
• Experience with healthcare data (claims, HIE, PHI de-identification) is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling and Performance: Design denormalized read models and indexed lookups.
• Pipelines and Integration: Build ETL and delta refresh pipelines across health data sources.
• Data Governance and Quality: Own de-identification and versioned migrations, data quality checks.
