DPR Construction in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sr Project Engineer focused on Self-Perform Work (SPW). You will collaborate with SPW crews and project teams to ensure SPW scopes integrate with overall plans, schedules and quality requirements while monitoring progress and utilization.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, and 4–6 years in construction engineering or a related field; OSHA 30 certification is preferred, with completion

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
4–6 years of experience in construction engineering or a related field.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

Reviews SPW scopes ensuring adherence to design specifications, SPW benchmarks, and field constructability.
Coordinates with SPW project managers and crews to resolve technical challenges and maintain productivity.
Reviews SPW drawings, shop drawings, submittals, and change orders for accuracy and alignment with goals.
Implements SPW project controls, including schedule tracking and cost monitoring.
Prepares SPW progress reports, daily field logs, and technical documentation for stakeholders.
Identifies and mitigates SPW risks including safety, equipment utilization, and material logistics.
Supports less experienced SPW team members in resolving project issues.
