Job summary

Capitol Broadcasting Company is hiring a Baseball Senior Sponsorship Account Executive to drive revenue through sponsorship and ticket sales for the Durham Bulls. You will partner with sponsors and coordinate with marketing to activate campaigns.

The ideal candidate has a proven sales record, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability and game-day involvement are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in sports sponsorship or ticket sales.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and drive revenue.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and solicit new sponsorship and ticket sales opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, season ticket holders, and group sales clients.
• Create and present compelling sponsorship and ticket sales proposals.
• Negotiate sponsorship agreements and ticket packages, ensuring all elements are fulfilled.
• Meet revenue targets and monitor client satisfaction; collaborate with marketing and operations.
• Assist with renewals and retention of accounts.
• Attend events to build sponsor and community relationships.
