Job summary

Capitol Broadcasting Company is seeking a Senior Group Sales Manager to drive major group ticket revenue and lead a high-performance sales team at the Durham Bulls Baseball Club. You will develop strategic initiatives, manage client relationships, and ensure exceptional fan experiences while meeting attendance goals.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of sales leadership in sports or related industries, with strong communication, negotiation, and CRM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience and team management.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Group Sales team, including full-time and part-time employees.
• Establish and monitor sales goals; ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Develop strategic sales initiatives and group programs to increase attendance and revenue.
• Maintain CRM data and prepare regular sales reports for leadership.
• Represent the organization at events to build relationships and identify opportunities.
