Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Cisco Splunk Solutions Engineer to act as a deep technical authority in pre-sales, owning architecture decisions and delivering sophisticated proofs-of-value for customers.

You will drive technical sessions, articulate strategy and details to engineers and executives, and partner with account teams to win strategic opportunities. The role requires extensive expertise in security, observability, or related domains, strong communication, and a track record of

Qualifications

5+ years in a pre-sales or deep technical role such as professional services, security, SRE
5+ years across security, observability, event, or network management

Responsibilities

Own and win the technical decision through breakdown sessions and proofs-of-value
Serve as go-to authority for architecture and market-facing technical details
Architect and validate single-architecture solutions for high-reaching requirements
Collaborate with Cisco ecosystem and Account Managers to win opportunities
Mentor and scale expertise across the SE community
Provide feedback to product and engineering to influence roadmaps
