Cisco Systems in the United States is seeking a Cisco Splunk Solutions Engineer (SE) to be the deep technical authority, owning technical decisions and leading proofs-of-value to win strategic opportunities. You will drive complex technical engagements and act as the definitive expert trusted by customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

5+ years in a pre-sales engineering or similar deep technical role.
5+ years of broad and deep technical knowledge across one of: Security, observability, event, or network management.

Responsibilities

Own and win the technical decision; lead breakdown sessions, bake-offs, and proofs-of-value.
Serve as the go-to authority, articulating vision, strategy, and technical details to engineers and executives.
Design and validate complex single-architecture solutions for customers' high-reaching requirements.
Partner with Cisco ecosystem and Account Managers to provide critical domain expertise to win opportunities.
Mentor and scale expertise by enabling the broader SE community on your technology.
Influence product direction with real-world insights that inform Cisco's roadmap.
