Cisco’s Splunk team seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer for the Manufacturing vertical to act as a trusted technical advisor, helping manufacturers harness data to drive digital transformation and operational resilience.

You will lead discovery sessions to understand cybersecurity and performance challenges and design deployments that provide unified visibility across enterprise IT, cloud, and business systems.

Qualifikationen

• 5-7 years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting.
• Understanding of modern security frameworks (SIEM, SOAR) and/or observability principles (APM, infrastructure monitoring).
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience working with large-scale data platforms or log management solutions

Aufgaben

• Technical Partnership: Act as the primary technical lead during the sales cycle, conducting high-level discovery sessions to understand the unique cybersecurity and performance challenges of manufacturing clients.
• Solution Architecture: Design and architect robust Splunk deployments that aggregate data from enterprise IT environments, cloud architectures, and digital business systems to provide unified visibility.
• Value Demonstration: Develop and deliver customized product demonstrations and Proof of Concept (POC) engagements that highlight the value of real-time threat detection, incident response automation, and full-stack observability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives, Product Management, and Professional Services teams to align Splunk’s capabilities with the digital roadmap requirements of the manufacturing sector.
• Thought Leadership: Present at industry conferences and internal forums on the importance of cyber resilience, modern observability, and the role of data analytics in digital transformation.
• Strategic Enablement: Build reusable technical assets, white papers, and demo environments tailored to enterprise security and observability use cases.
