Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead a compassionate team and guide patients through communication and swallowing challenges.

Qualifications

• Active state license in Speech Therapy is required.
• CCC certification is required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field; Master's/Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of two years of speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or hold specialty certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients and tailor treatment plans.
• Lead and mentor team members and supervise SLP assistants.
• Coordinate in-service education and student programs.
• Collaborate with departments to support rehabilitation goals.
• Celebrate patient progress and outcomes.
