Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead our speech therapy team in a hospital setting. You will provide direct patient care, mentor clinicians, and coordinate services across the care continuum to improve communication and swallowing outcomes.

Qualifications

• CCC Certification required.
• State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CPR/BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients with speech, language and swallowing disorders.
• Mentor and train therapists and support staff.
• Lead and participate in interdisciplinary care planning and documentation.
• Coordinate therapy services within the hospital setting.
• Support in-service education and student programs for clinical ladder.
