Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead our dedicated team. You will guide patients through speech and communication challenges, delivering compassionate, personalized care within a supportive, nationally recognized rehabilitation system.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state licensure for Speech Therapy.
• CCC certification required as part of the qualification.
• CPR certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum two years of speech-language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships by addressing speech and communication needs.
• Assist with speech-language in-service education and our student clinician program.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress throughout recovery.
