Encompass Health is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead and mentor a team while delivering exceptional care for patients with speech and communication challenges. You will guide direct patient care, participate in in-service education, and support ongoing education through our student programs.

Formación

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of two years speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Providing direct care to patients and building rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's needs.
• Assisting with speech language in-service education and our SLP student program.
• Mentoring and training new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegating and supervising speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
