Encompass Health is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will guide SLP teams, deliver compassionate care, and mentor staff while advancing rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification completed.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; master's/doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of two years speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's needs.
• Assist with speech language in-service education and our speech language pathologist student program.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
