Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• 2 years of clinical experience required.

• Basic Life Support / CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests to evaluate speech, voice, swallowing, dysfluency and language function.
• Provides functional treatment for speech, voice, swallowing, dysfluency and language.
• Develops therapeutic plans with other specialists.
• Maintains medical records and progress notes.
• Supervise and train therapy students during onsite affiliations.
• Instructs patients and families in communication and swallow safety strategies.
• Consults with medical staff on speech and swallowing topics.
• Keeps abreast of developments in the field and participates in conferences.
• Prepare and deliver lectures to therapy students.
