Job summary

GSPP Rehabilitation, a Good Shepherd organization, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, 40-hour workweek with day/evening shifts. You will evaluate and treat speech, voice, swallowing, dysfluency and language disorders, develop collaborative treatment plans, document progress, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification required.
• 2 years of clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests to evaluate speech, voice, swallowing, dysfluency and language function.
• Develops therapeutic plans with other specialists.
• Instructs patients and families on communication and swallow strategies.
• Maintains medical records and documents progress and discharge plans.
• Supervises therapy students during onsite clinical affiliations.
