Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative in the US to provide clinical knowledge to medical professionals and promote Amgen products while navigating the complex payer environment. The role requires delivering on marketing strategies, building strong accounts, and achieving territory targets through in-person and virtual engagement.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Life Sciences or Business Administration (or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of sales experience with an Associate degree
• High school diploma with 8 years of sales/clinical experience in healthcare

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to clinicians
• Promote products and support branded sales messages to drive product utilization
• Develop relationships to service accounts and address reimbursement issues
• Analyze territory data and help create territory plans with the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role
• Demonstrate passion for products throughout the sales cycle while upholding Amgen values
