Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, promote products, and navigate complex payer environments within assigned territories across the U.S. You will implement marketing strategy and drive branded messages while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with sales or healthcare experience, plus robust communication and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree with 4 years of Sales experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior Qualifications may include healthcare/clinical experience in healthcare or scientific field that is not sales related.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded messages and promoting products.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, customize discussions, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activities, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative.
• Maintain passion for products and brand throughout the sales cycle while serving patients.
