Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in special track, QA, or related inspection roles.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of AWS and ASNT inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with ferrous and non-ferrous castings/forgings when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect special track work per Authority drawings and specs.
• Verify dimensions, clearances, and quality requirements.
• Inspect track materials (nuts, bolts, washers, steel fastener plates, shims, clips, screw spikes).
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection documentation.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials.
• Prepare inspection reports and support material acceptance decisions.
